Cycle Disciples is
an independent, non-denominational Christian motorcycle club and is
incorporated as non-profit in the state of Missouri.
What we do: Our focus is on ministering within the
motorcyclist community in the Kansas
City area. Specifically, we attend secular rallies,
races, bike shows sponsored by local motorcycle clubs, associations or dealers.
We are responsible to coordinate the annual "Bikers with a Mission" ride (see
the website at www.bikerswithamission.org)
and conduct an annual Christian Biker Workshop. At these events we meet and
talk with bikers on an individual basis, and seek to share the Gospel and / or
pray with them as appropriate. We take a long-term view in building
relationships and credibility in this very difficult ministry area.
Where we meet: We meet each Thursday evening for Bible
study and prayer at 7 PM at our Clubhouse located in the Special Events
Building of Calvary Bible College at the corner of 159th St. & Kensington on Richards-Gebaur Airport. We conduct regular business
meetings the first Thursday of each month at the same time and location.
Directions to
the Clubhouse: From the
Grandview Triangle, head south on 71 hwy. Take the 155th St. Exit, turn right (west) and go
about 1 mile. At the first stop light turn left (south) on Kensington and go
about 1/2 mile. You will pass the main entrance to Calvary Bible
College. The Special Events
building is a single story building just south of the CBC gymnasium parking lot
facing Kensington.
How you can get
involved: First, pray for
this ministry. Second, if you are a Christian biker committed to long-term
ministry in this community, consider becoming a member. We require a
"prospect" period for each potential member as part of the process.
