I am convinced that it is only through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ that we can live a life that honors God. It is only as we seek after the Lord with all our hearts learning to submit to Him through the pages of the Bible that we can grow in our intimacy with Him. That is why I have a passion for teaching God's Word. The writer to the Hebrews stated it this way:

Hebrews 4:12-13 For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the    sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. [13] Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable. (NLT)

The Bible changes lives because it is alive and powerful. That is why I am committed to studying, obeying, and teaching the Bible with God’s help to the best of my abilities.

There are many ways to express worship for God, and singing is just one of them--but it’s an important one. When we sing together, we agree corporately that God is worthy of praise. We affirm and remember truth about God together by learning lyrics that accurately portray God’s attributes. Also, we fellowship with God by setting aside time to focus solely on his character and works.

1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace. (ESV)
