Music

We praise God at Open Door through a variety of music, including songs from groups like Cityalight and Sovereign Grace, artists such as Jeremy Camp and Charity Gayle, and hymns. These songs reflect the diverse backgrounds in our congregation (1 Cor. 14:26). We desire to see God glorified in our lives and our church services, and singing is one way we can declare God’s greatness and love together with one voice (Rom. 15:6). Through music, we also encourage, teach, and pray corporately with each other.

We rely on members of our congregation giving their time and skill. In addition to the instrumentalists and vocalists who support our congregational singing, we also have opportunities to serve through our youth praise team, vocal ensemble, special music, children’s choir, and music selection committee. We invite you to praise God with us!
